AOS will be at this year’s annual AUSA (Association of the US Army) Meeting and Exposition to be held 21-23 October at the Walter E. Washington Conference Center in Washington DC. At the kind invitation of Team Defence Australia, AOS will be one of a select number of Australian SME’s exhibiting at the Australian Pavilion.
The AOS exhibit is focusing on our current work with the Australian Defence Force. At the Urban Sniper Range outside Perth, AOS’s CoJACK™ cognitive software has been integrated with Marathon Target’s live-fire robot targets, so the robots can mimic human emotion and behaviour autonomously and demonstrate enhanced variability as they respond to unfolding sniper training exercises. Also featured on the stand will be updates on other on-going projects like the Rational Information Broker – RIB™ and the intelligent Watch Dog – iWD™.
AUSA is one of the largest land warfare expositions and professional development forums in the world. It annually hosts over 700 industry and military exhibits with attendance topping 30,000 for the three-day event. The Secretary of the Army, the Hon. John McHugh, is the Keynote Speaker at the Opening Ceremony this year.
If you’re attending AUSA 2013, please stop by the Australian Pavilion (#3903) to see our latest video of the live-fire robot targets in action and have a chat with Andy Park, AOS’s Director of North American Operations.
